[NJPW News] During today’s show, KAIENTAI DOJO star, and top trainee of TAKA Michinoku, Kengo Mashimo made a shocking appearance in New Japan by jumping Togi Makabe during the scheduled tag bout on the show.Mashimo has recently came off of a record setting 11 Defense reign with the CHAMPION OF STRONGEST-K title, before losing to Daisuke Sekimoto on August 22nd.Mashimo joining Suzuki-gun (Suzuki Army) came out of nowhere, but he has definitely made a statement by taking out one of the fan favorite’s in Makabe.This is a very interesting time for Suzuki-gun as a whole, Harry Smith made his New Japan debut and seems to have found a strong tag partner in Lance Archer. Yoshihiro Takayama should make his return to NJPW soon.TAKA and Taichi recently had some words against each other, with Suzuki pretty much stepping in and leaving more questions that answers. Now Taichi is in CMLL for the next few months, and could very well be on the verge of losing his position if Kengo Kengo Mashimo sets himself within a high position among the group and in the company.
