[All Japan News] AJP held a press conference today for two of the upcoming matches that are set to happen on October 7. First up is the press meeting between Hiroshi Yamato and Kenny Omega. Yamato appointed Omega to be his 3rd defense as he wants to challenge himself by facing against the former All Japan Jr. champion. For Yamato to prove to himself that he will be a champion that All Japan needs he needs to reclaim loses from the past as well as push himself to the limit against top wrestlers.
Omega mentioned the fact that he has already beaten Yamato-san once already and it seems that he is already aiming to reclaim the belt which he lost to KAI back in late May. The other press spot belonged to SUSHI who has been humiliated by not one but two different Aegyptus Aerial’s. During the show on September 23rd, Aerial kept aiming to grab the second “Tamago” off of SUSHI’s mask while SUSHI himself was fighting to reclaim the first one that Aerial took. SUSHI would pick up the win in the match, but out of nowhere a second “larger’ Aerial appeared and attacked SUSHI. Both Aerials then took the tamago’s off of his mask and haven’t been seen from since. The tamago’s are the source of SUSHI’s power and since losing both he has been left without much energy to carry on. On October 7 he will team with Andy Woo to take on both Aegyptus Aerial. Of course this upcoming show will see the crowning of the first ever GAORA TV Champion, as well as many other matches that will build up to bigger show scheduled for 10/21.http://www.puroresuspirit.com/2012/08/26/all-japan-event-cards-for-september-october-2012/ All Japan Pro-Wrestling “40th ANNIVERSARY TOUR 2012”, 10/7/2012 [Sun] 12:00 @ Korakuen Hall in Tokyo (1) GAORA TV Championship, First Champion Decision Tournament, Semi-Final Match: Yasufumi Nakanoueno vs. Kazushi Miyamoto (2) GAORA TV Championship, First Champion Decision Tournament, Semi-Final Match: Seiya Sanada vs. Tomoaki Honma (3) SUSHI & Andy Woo vs. Aegyptus Aerial & Aegyptus Aerial Large (4) 6 Man Tag Match: Suwama, Kaz Hayashi & Shuji Kondo vs. Joe Doering, NOSAWA Rongai & MAZADA (5) Special Tag Match: Keiji Mutoh & Scott Norton vs. Taiyo Kea & Masanobu Fuchi (6) World Junior Heavy Championship Match: [33rd Champion] Hiroshi Yamato vs. [Challenger] Kenny Omega ~ 3rd Defense.
