[NOAH News (updated)] Pro Wrestling NOAH announced a few updates for the upcoming tour in November, with a match added to the November 3 event as Takashi Sugiura & Mohammed Yone will be facing Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima in a NOAH vs. NJPW match.
Kojima is recently coming off of a win over Naomichi Marufuji and could very well have his eyes set on claiming a GHC title. With this addition to the event could this very well be pointing towards TenKoji potentially going after the tag belts?
NOAH “Global League Tournament 2012”, 11/3/2012 [Sat] 12:00 @ Korakuen Hall in Tokyo
(-) NOAH vs. NJPW Special Tag Match: Takashi Sugiura & Mohammed Yone vs. Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima (-) GHC Junior Heavy Championship Match: [25th Champion] Shuji Kondo [AJP] vs. [Challenger] Atsushi Aoki ~ 1st Defense.
~ NOAH also announced that ROH wrestler Eddie Edwards will be competing for them for the whole October tour, 11/3 to 11/23.
~ Then lastly, NOAH held the official signing ceremony for the upcoming GHC Heavyweight Championship match between Takeshi Morishima and Kohei Sato. Sato is showing nothing but confidence going into the match and is looking to bring the GHC belt back home to ZERO1. Morishima though will be aiming to claim his 7th defense of the belt and carry himself into the Global League as the reigning champion. It should also be interesting to note that the GHC Heavy belt has never changed hands at the Korakuen Hall, could this be the first? Regardless of what may happen on 10/27, the Global League will then setup the next challenger for the GHC belt. Whether that be one of the NOAH trueborns or even New Japan’s Yuji Nagata who is much talked about in regards to going after Morishima and the GHC belt.
