   [DRADITION News] A press conference was held for DRADITION to announce that they will be holding a show on May 29, as well two of the matches that will be held on the show.
   
   Fujinami, Tiger Mask, Funaki and AKIRA were on hand for the press conference. Fujinami started off by saying that this is the first step for himself to make a new impact, something exciting, and that is why he chose Funaki as one of his opponents. Fujinami is familiar with Funaki from watching over him in practice in the mid-1980’s and up until Funaki left to MMA. Funaki has sense made himself a name in Japan from his time in MMA and now being the reigning All Japan Triple Crown Champion.
   
   Because of their connection when Funaki was starting out, Funaki feels that this match has a pretty special feeling already for himself, and hopefully for the fans as well.
   
   There was also mention that Tatsumi Fujinami’s eldest son, Leona Fujinami [19], could “potentially” be making his debut on the show.

   [WNC News] The last two names in the WNC Championship tournament has been decided.

   Following the announcement a few days ago in regards to the creation of the WNC Championship and sequential tournament announced to crown the first champion, TAJIRI held a press conference to announce that both Yusuke Kodama [25] and Adam Angel [25] will fill the two remaining spots as the “future talent”.

   Adam Angel has been competing for WNC for the last couple months and will be going up against AKIRA on October 26, in what will be a rematch for Angel as he recently lost in a tag match to AKIRA back on September 22nd. You also may better know Adam Angel as Angelico from him competing in Mexico for IWRG and AAA as well as Nu Wrestling Evolution in Spain. Angel hails from South Africa, but resides in Spain.
   Yusuke Kodama has been a pro for almost 2 and a half years now and is currently TAJIRI’s top student, since KUSHIDA moved to NJPW. Kodama will face Tommy Dreamer in November in the first round of the title tournament.
   
   TAJIRI also announced a new trainee in Yoshihiro Horaguchi, who is 30 years old, will be making his professional wrestling debut for WNC on October 26.

   [WNC News] Wrestling New Classic will be introducing their first championship into the promotion and with that news is that they will be holding a tournament to determine the very first champion.
   Dave Finlay will be personally donating the championship to the promotion.
   
   Announced 1st Tournament Matches.
   TAJIRI vs. Carlito
   Hajime Ohara vs. Starbuck
   Tommy Dreamer vs. 1st Future/to be announced
   AKIRA vs. 2nd Future/to be announced
   
   On October 26, WNC will hold the first two matches to begin the tournament with the first being two former WWE superstars face off with TAJIRI vs. Carlito. TAJIRI and Carlito became friends during their time within the WWE and Carlito has always been welcome to come and compete for SMASH and now WNC. This will mark the first time for Carlito to compete in WNC and it should be interesting to see what these two can offer against each other.
   The second scheduled tournament match will see a former student and teacher match as Hajime Ohara will be going up against Starbuck. Ohara has found himself on the wrong side of loses as of late, but with a recent turn he has been trying to build himself back up someone who should be seen in WNC. Starbuck currently holds a pinfall victory over Ohara back in July, but can Ohara finally earn the win that needs?
   
   The other two matches are scheduled to happen in November with “1st Future” and “2nd Future” being open positions for the rising talent in WNC.

   [WNC News] Following the conclusion of the last set of show over this last weekend, Wrestling New Classic will be returning for 3 more shows later in the month.
   WNC held a press conference today, 9/4, namely for the upcoming event on September 19th.
   First up will see the reigning GHC Jr. Tag champion team of Super Crazy & Ricky Marvin as they face off against Yusuke Kodama & El Hijo Del Pantera. The 20 year old Pantera has spent the last month competing and training along side TAJIRI in better hopes of improving himself as a professional wrestler. Kodama as well has is little over 2 years in his career and a win for either of the two against the rival team could prove to be a big step in their careers.
   Naomichi Marufuji appeared for the press conference to make mention of the fact that Hajime Ohara called him out over the weekend shows. Ohara has recently undergone a change with his mentality and has started to become more serious.
   Marufuji defeated Ohara back on July 15th while in a tag match and that seemed to be all there was to that, but like what has been mentioned Ohara is looking to reclaim that said.
   It seems the match will be set for September 20th, but it has yet to be listed among the matches. Neither are scheduled to compete otherwise as of this time.
   The main event for the 9/20 show will see the “Emperor of Europe” Dave Finlay take on the “Emperor of Mexico” Ray Mendoza, Jr.

   [WNC Event Cards/News] Wrestling New Classic will be holding 5 shows pretty much back to back to start out the month of August.
   The upcoming shows will play off of the new “heel faction” of AKIRA, Starbuck & Kana. AKIRA began it all after having a fall out with TAJIRI, Starbuck was much the same with Hajime Ohara, and then Shuri turned on Kana. This has caused a major rift within the promotion and it should be interesting to see what comes about.

   [Wrestling New Classic News] June will see Ryuji Yamakawa coming into WNC as he teams with, his friend and owner of WNC, TAJIRI for the next 3 shows before he officially retires on July 15th.
   
   The other big matches bigger matches announced for the upcoming shows is Ohara going up against NOAH’s Maybach Taniguchi on June 22nd. Ohara originally was just looking to face off against fellow Toryumon trainee Kazuchika Okada. Of course things have not gone his way. He has found himself up against Gedo & Toru Yano who both used illegal means to beat him and now the unruly Maybach Taniguchi. Maybach attacked Ohara following his match against Yano on 5/24 and a match would be inevitable. Ohara is 0-2 in his bid against Okada, but being he has been not been pinned clean keeps his bid to face Okada still a possibility.    Leatherface will be coming back and will have some interesting matches in store. He has the “Unbeatable Alien” Hoshito Takahashi on 6/22, Kana on 6/23, and the legend Tatsumi Fujinami on 6/24.
