[All Japan News] All Japan held a press conference today to hold the signing for the upcoming GAORA TV Championship match between Sanada and Kono, as well as, the announcement that Shuji Kondo will officially be joining LAST REVOLUTION (L/R).
Seiya Sanada will be defending his GAORA TV Championship against Masayuki Kono on March 10 at Korakuen Hall. Kono has managed to get under Sanada who said that “he doubts his role as champion for the first time” heading into the match. During the scheduled match against Kono on 2.23, Sanada finally had enough and ended up losing the scheduled tag bout due to disqualification. He regrets his action, but the anger towards Kono is still there. Of course it was pushed on by Kono who found it upon himself to attack Sanada repeatedly backstage before that confrontation on 2.23. Masayuki Kono aims to bring yet another belt to STACK OF ARMS, with Funaki as the Triple Crown Champion and Junior Stars as the Asia Tag Champs. Kono has been showing a new ferocity and determination heading into this match and if Sanada has really lost his edge then we might be seeing a new champion crowned.

Masahiro Chono and Suwama were on hand for the announcement of Shuji Kondo officially joining a long with them in LAST REVOLUTION. Of course this comes following Kaz Hayashi stating that he will not join the group, which made to believe that his tag partner in “Team 246”, Shuji Kondo, was with Hayashi. Kondo announced that “Team 246” has been abolished with his joining of L/R. Suwama though said that the invitation still stands for Hayashi to join up with them. LAST REVOLUTION aims be the symbol of strength in All Japan Pro-Wrestling as they plan to take on Burning head on.
Masahiro Chono, All Japan’s advisor, then spoke about the news of the new owners and said that All Japan is in need of a reform. The foundation of the promotion has definitely weakened, but he believes that L/R is the sign of things moving forward for the better.
Chono then announced some more matches for the upcoming big show on 3.17. Including his involvement as he tags with Doering & Kondo to take on the team of Akebono, Hama & Nakanoeuno.

[All Japan News] Suwama called for a special press conference to be held in the All Japan Office in Tokyo to announce that Joe Doering and himself have come to an agreement on an official team name as “LAST REVOLUTION”. Which is a play of t
heir of their finishing moves with Suwama’s Last Ride (Powerbomb) and Joe Doering’s Revolution Bomb (Spinning Sitout Powerbomb). The two have gone from bitter enemies to a strong mutual understanding that they both could be a strong threat as a team to beat. Suwama closed the interview by saying that L/R will win the World’s Strongest Tag League and go on to win the World Tag belts.
