[AJPW News] Hikaru Sato joins Evolution and SUSHI and Menso~re Oyaji get an Asia Tag title match.

Suwama and Hikaru Sato came into the office to formally announce Hikaru as the latest member of the “Evolution” faction. Suwama gave Hikaru an ultimatum though as he has been tasked to be crowned a champion, more specifically with the Asia Tag belts to join alongside Suwama and Doering with the World Tag belts. Hikaru stated that even though he did not win the Jr. Battle of Glory that he will fight with his full body and soul for Evolution. SUSHI stated that he will finally prove himself against Akiyama and that the oldest active belts in Japan will be his and Oyaji’s.

Kotaro and Aoki stated that they know something was lacking in their performance in the tag league, but they will surely prove themselves as the reigning Asia Tag champs.

All Japan also held the official signing for the World Junior Heavyweight belt between the champion Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Ultimo Dragon. as mentioned multiple times, this match has been anticipated for months now, ever since Dragon appeared in All Japan, and this match will be the last big singles confrontation for the promotion.
Ultimo Dragon who is carrying the original junior class belt, NWA International Jr., used in All Japan back in the early 1980’s. Ultimo has held championships in many different promotions as well from all over the world, but the AJPW belt is something that he has never yet held. Ultimo stated that “by all means, I want the belt”, as he seeks to be crowned a champion in AJPW for the first time in his career.
(Side note: The match “appears” to only be contested with the AJPW belt on the line. Even though they keep showing both belts.)

Jun Akiyama stated that he and Omori certainly have their attention set on challenging the World Tag Champions soon.
Suwama sent out a reply that he and Doering are ready at anytime to accept the rematch so they can claim revenge for the loss during the Strongest Tag League.

Akiyama… or I should be saying “Mr. Christmas” will be taking on SUSHI on the upcoming fan appreciation show on December 15, and an interesting addition has been made for the match in the form that the match will be contested under a one count fall rule. SUSHI requested for the change in the rule and Akiyama readily accepted the request. This definitely could put the favor on SUSHI’s side as his signature moves all involve capturing pin holds.

Then lastly, KENSO stated that he is coming for Kento Miyahara on the 15th and he is looking to unleash the full fury of DK. KENSO will be the lone man from his new group, but it appears he might have a trick up his sleeve to put the odd in his favor.

Below is the announced card in full.

Then with the split happening, it just caused the belt to be lost in the mix. The belt though was returned back to GAORA and All Japan has been given the blessing to re-instate the belt as active. The contenders have been announced as SUSHI, Hikaru Sato, Masao Inoue, and DDT’s Keisuke Ishii and the first round matches will take place on November 21 at the Korakuen Hall. SUSHI advocated for the belts return, but he will have a tough match first thing as is set to take on Hikaru Sato.Sato had nothing but criticism for SUSHI and stated that he better be prepared for a battle. Then that leaves Masao Inoue and Keisuke Ishii who will be facing off in the first round against one another. Ishii aims to continue to live his dream by competing in All Japan and he aims to prove himself in the tournament. All Japan also announced the full tour event cards with the inclusion that DDT’s “Team Dream Futures” will be competing on the full tour. All Japan Event Cards for November & December 2013http://puroresuspirit.wordpress.com/2013/11/10/all-japan-event-cards-for-november-december-2013/
