[All Japan News] All Japan Pro-Wrestling held a press conference today and a 3 key announcements were made, two of which being title matches that will take place during this years Champion Carnival tournament.
The first announcement of the night was that Andy Woo and Daiki Inaba (current trainee) will be heading to train and compete in Mexico. No word on which promotion they will be going to, but All Japan has had a connection with AAA in the past. All Japan also stated that they will be leaving for Mexico on April 13 and that their training time away will be for an indefinite period.
Inaba is slated to make his “debut” in Mexico
*I put debut in quotes as it was said that he may have been Aegyptus Aerial, during last years junior tournament.
Kotaro Suzuki & Atsushi Aoki managed to claim the big victory in the JUNIOR HYPER TAG LEAGUE and have earned themselves another Asia Tag title oppurtunity against the “Junior Stars” Minoru Tanaka & Koji Kanemoto. During the press conference, it was announced that the title match will take place on April 25 at the Nagoya International Conference Hall. Junior Stars currently hold the win over the junior Burning team, and they both share a draw from their encounter in the junior league match on April 6th. Junior Stars didn’t make it into the Finals of the tournament as they were stopped by Hiroshi Yamato & Hikaru Sato, who moved on tot he Finals themselves, early that day. Kotaro & Aoki are aiming to bring the Asia Tag belts to Burning to join them alongside Akiyama and Shiozaki who currently hold the World Tag belts.

Rina Takeda has an upcoming movie called “Dead Sushi” that is set to release on DVD in January of next year. SUSHI is hoping that the connection between them will lead to success.
This is not the first time that Rina Takeda has competed in the All Japan ring as she previously teamed with Keiji Mutoh & Yuzuki Aikawa last year. Takeda has a strong background in Karate and will also be appearing in the movie Dead Sushi.

[All Japan News] AJP announced the full card for October 21 show for their 40th Anniversary Tour.
SUSHI announced that he will be bringing a new friend known as BIG SUSHI to help him against both of the Aegyptus Aerial’s on 10/21 at Nagoya. It is unknown at this time who will be playing “BIG SUSHI”, but SUSHI is looking to reclaim his stolen tamago’s from his mask.
GET WILD’s Manabu Soya has found himself with a losing streak against STACK OF ARM’s Masayuki Kono as of late, and with their leaders in Takao Omori & Masakatsu Funaki facing off in the main event it was just fitting to have the other two team members facing off.
Following the weekends shows, Hiroshi Yamato managed to withstand a brutal encounter with DDT’s Kenny Omega, in which led to Yamato losing one of his teeth. Yamato is ready for his next match, but at this time there is still no next challenger names. Since no challenger has stepped up he clarified once again that himself and Shuji Kondo plan on going after Pro Wrestling NOAH’s GHC Jr. Tag Team titles. Yamato & Kondo will team together on 10/23 to take on Kaz Hayashi & MAZADA in the opening contest.
Seiya Sanada will be defending his newly won GAORA TV Championship against the man he beat in the final match Yasufumi Nakanoueno. Nakanoueno has really started to show his own since the start of this tournament, but during the semi-final match against Kazushi Miyamoto, Yasufumi took quite a beating.
Because of the fact of Yasufumi was treated like so earlier in the night, he appealed for a rematch against Sanada, “I want to try one more time”.
All Japan’s President Masayuki Uchida was happy to oblige and sign the rematch as he himself wants to see the match happen. To see the power and determination of the young talent within the promotion was the reason why the GAORA TV belt was formed. To give the young talent to have something to strive for.

[All Japan News] AJP held a press conference today for two of the upcoming matches that are set to happen on October 7.
First up is the press meeting between Hiroshi Yamato and Kenny Omega. Yamato appointed Omega to be his 3rd defense as he wants to challenge himself by facing against the former All Japan Jr. champion. For Yamato to prove to himself that he will be a champion that All Japan needs he needs to reclaim loses from the past as well as push himself to the limit against top wrestlers.
[All Japan News] AJP announced that Hiroshi Yamato will be defending the World Junior belt against DDT’s Kenny Omega on the October 7 show. This match kind of came out of nowhere, but Yamato has said that he wants to be a strong champion. Well he will get that chance to prove himself when he faces a former champion in Omega on Oct. 7.
