[NOAH News] Pro Wrestling Noah announced the full card for their next upcoming big show on October 12th.
Following the end of the last show on Sept. 23rd, all the next GHC title matches were announced. Previously announced was Daisuke Sekimoto receiving the next defense against the GHC Heavyweight Champion regardless of who came out the winner on 9/23. Marufuji though prevailed and will now be going up against the Big Japan Strong wrestler in what is sure to be a solid match in the making.
The GHC Tag belts will be on the line as the so-far very strong united front of Takashi Sugiura and Masato Tanaka take on TMDK, Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste. TMDK have earned their shot at the tag belts with their recent performances on the last tour and Sugiura is one to take on any formidable challenge head-on.

Daisuke Harada will also be putting the GHC Junior Heavyweight belt on the line against the world traveled veteran Super Crazy. Harada has been making it a point to challenge himself in anyway possible as champion and he will surely get what he asked for as he named Crazy to be his next challenger. Harada prides himself on being able to adapt for any match, but Crazy himself is a man of many styles in the ring. Harada has had some solid matches one after another as champion and should make this one a potential must see as well.
Taiji Ishimori & Atsushi Kotoge will finally be putting the GHC Jr. Tag belts on the line against the winners of the Junior Tag League back in early August. Kenou and Ohara have proven to be a very crafty and solid team this year and could easily be putting the champions reign in jeopardy.

The first half of the show will be filled out with two specific “Global League” prelude matches featuring NJPW vs NOAH. First up is Hiroshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima taking on Takeshi Morishima & Maybach Taniguchi. Kojima has been announced to be competing in this years GL and this match could very well be an early sign in regards to his positioning. Morishima & Maybach are not afraid to break the rules but that is also something that TenCozy is unaccustomed to if need be.
The second will see Muhammed Yone & Katsuhiko Nakajima taking on the veteran NJPW team of Yuji Nagata & Manabu Nakanishi. Nagata has proven his dominance in Noah already and being last year’s winner of the GL will surely be looking to regain his solid footing heading back into the tournament. Yone & Nakajima though will have the opportunity to try and thwart the outsiders from gaining said footing.

Below is the announced card in full…

[NOAH News] Pro Wrestling Noah held a signing ceremony for the upcoming GHC Junior Heavyweight match between (champion) Daisuke Harada and (challenger) Shiori Asahi on September 21st.Asahi currently holds a pin fall over Harada following the Junior Tag League earlier this Summer and challenged the champion to put the belt on the line. Harada took no time to accept the challenge as he must seek revenge for suffering a loss. The two have met in the past before as well stemming back to Harada’s time in Osaka Pro-Wrestling roughly 5 years ago.Asahi stated that Harada has indeed grown quite a bit in the last few years, but he knows the chance that is in front of him and he wants to capture the belt. If nothing else but to showcase a culmination of his own career. Harada stated that he has much respect for his senior and is a very talented technician in the ring, if not one of the best. [NOAH News] Pro Wrestling Noah held a signing ceremony for the upcoming GHC Junior Heavyweight match between (champion) Daisuke Harada and (challenger) Shiori Asahi on September 21st.

Asahi currently holds a pin fall over Harada following the Junior Tag League earlier this Summer and challenged the champion to put the belt on the line. Harada took no time to accept the challenge as he must seek revenge for suffering a loss. The two have met in the past before as well stemming back to Harada’s time in Osaka Pro-Wrestling roughly 5 years ago.

Asahi stated that Harada has indeed grown quite a bit in the last few years, but he knows the chance that is in front of him and he wants to capture the belt. If nothing else but to showcase a culmination of his own career. Harada stated that he has much respect for his senior and is a very talented technician in the ring, if not one of the best. Though this is his time to shine as champion and he will do his best to keep the belt in its home field.

http://puroresuspirit.wordpress.com/2014/07/07/8th-annual-ntv-g-cup-junior-heavy-tag-league-war-league-info/

[NOAH News] A signing ceremony was held for the upcoming GHC Heavyweight Championship match between the champion Naomichi Marufuji and the challenger Katsuhiko Nakajima. Also Maru announced the next “GREAT VOYAGE” show will be held on September 23 at the Niigata City Gymnasium along with a first ever match to take place in the Noah ring.

This upcoming GHC Heavy defense will see the two BRAVE teammates going head-to-head which is also happens to be Nakajima’s hometown. Marufuji will be heading into the match with a current 2 win streak over Nakajima in singles matches as of this point. Nakajima’s last challenge or the GHC Heavy came just a little over 9 months when he lost against the then champion KENTA on October 5, 2013.

Marufuji stated that the first defense of the belt is very important and Nakajima is indeed the right guy as they have been both best friends and fierce rivals throughout the years. Maru noted that he has fallen short in recent times when it came to reclaiming the GHC Heavy belt and that he aims to make sure that this reign means something. Maru also stated that he won the GHC Heavyweight belt through his determination to defend Noah against the NJPW’s Yuji Nagata and he cannot let Nakajima win, who carries the DIAMOND RING banner.

Nakajima stated that he is honored that Marufuji wants to face him first, but with that said he knows how much is on the line at the same time. He mentioned that Maru might be the leader of BRAVE, but his goal is to defeat Marufuji in the ring. As noted earlier with the loss record that he current has hanging over himself against Maru, Nakajima stated that he does not wish to suffer defeat once more. He will do his best against Marufuji as it is his own goal to one day hold the GHC Heavyweight belt.

Marufuji then announced that the “GREAT VOYAGE” will be held on September 23rd at the Niigata City Gymnasium. Also announced is a big change for Noah as they will be working along with ZERO1’s First-On Stage and the “Dai H
anabi (Great Fireworks)” to be a part of the show. What this means is that Noah will be hosting their very first ever “Electric Current Blast Death Match” with Atsushi Onita. Both promotions were scheduled to be holding an event at the same time in Niigata, but due to some working between the committee’s it was decided that a “union box office” would be more beneficial.
Something that was also mentioned is that the GHC Tag belts could very well be defended in this match if Takashi Sugiura and Masato Tanaka are still champions by that time. As Onita has made the challenge for a GHC belt to be on the line. Shinjiro Otani is also scheduled to compete on the show, and could potentially be Onita’s partner.
