[All Japan News] Following this last weekends big show, All Japan has officially announced four upcoming title matches. The first will take place on February 10th as the newly crowned Asia Tag Champions team of Hiroshi Yamato & Hikaru Sato, better known as “Baka Hentai”, will be facing off against the team they beat of Minoru Tanaka & Koji Kanemoto, the Junior Stars. Baka Hentai pulled out a huge win over the champions, but it should be interesting to see if they can work together and prove they are the rightful champions.Following the main event from the show on January 26th, Masakatsu Funaki successfully defended the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship against Akebono. It didn’t take long for a new challenger to step forward in, a former Triple Crown Champion, Suwama, and the title match will be taking place on March 17th in Ryogoku. Suwama recently formed a union with Masahiro Chono, along with Joe Doering, and with that has come a new drive in Suwama to reclaim the Triple Crown. This will mark Funaki’s 5th defense of the Triple Crown, and the second shot for Suwama during Funaki’s current reign, with 9/23 being the date for their recent encounter. The last title match announced over the weekend is “GET WILD”, Takao Omori and Manabu Soya, defending the World Tag Belts against the team of Jun Akiyama & Go Shiozaki on the March 17th show. Akiyama, Shiozaki, as well as the other 3 wrestlers appeared at the January 26th show to announce their intentions of competing in All Japan. The President of All Japan, Masayuki Uchida, took no time in announcing big matches to add even more hype for the guys coming in.Then lastly, Uchida announced that Shuji Kondo will be defending the World Junior belt against Yoshinobu Kanemaru on February 23rd. These two are far from strangers between one another with their last title match seeing Kondo beat Kanemaru for the GHC Junior belt on September 29th. Kanemaru debuted in All Japan back on July of 1996 and will be looking to claim the belt that eluded him during the early years of his career.Below are the upcoming title matches that are scheduled at this time.———————————————————————All Japan Pro-Wrestling “2013 Excite Series”, 2/10/2013 [Sun] 18:00 @ Hakata Starlanes in Fukuoka(-) Asia Tag Championship Match: [90th Champions] “Baka Hentai” Hiroshi Yamato & Hikaru Sato vs. [Challengers] “Junior Stars” Minoru Tanaka & Koji Kanemoto~ 1st Defense.———————————————————————All Japan Pro-Wrestling “2013 Excite Series”, 2/23/2013 [Sat] 18:00 @ Korakuen Hall in Tokyo(-) All Japan Pro-Wrestling vs Burning 5 Big Singles Match Series ~ World Junior Heavy Championship Match: [34th Champion] Shuji Kondo vs. [Challenger] Yoshinobu Kanemaru~ 1st Defense.———————————————————————All Japan Pro-Wrestling “2013 Pro Wrestling LOVE in Ryogoku ~BASIC & DYNAMIC~”, 3/17/2013 [Sun] 17:00 @ Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo(-) World Tag Championship Match: [64th Champions] “GET WILD” Takao Omori & Manabu Soya vs. [Challengers] “BURNING” Jun Akiyama & Go Shiozaki~ 3rd Defense. (-) Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship Match: [45th Champion] Masakatsu Funaki vs. [Challenger] Suwama~ 5th Defense.www.puroresuspirit.com/2012/12/24/all-japan-event-cards-for-january-february-2013/

[DDT News] All the card of “NEVER MIND 2012” have been set. With two big title matches to headline the show.2012 is such a great year for DDT. With the successful Budokan show, DDT begin to head for the next chapter and now they will end this year with another big show. The main event will see El Generico make his 3rd KO-D title defend against Kenny Omega. Everyone knows that Omega just headlined the main event in Budokan show this year and have epic battle with his best friend Kota Ibushi for this title. But fail to capture it and begin to taking his time off from DDT. Then El Generico shock the world by pinned Ibushi for the champ. Not just one time, but two. He then make his 2nd defend by beat MIKAMI, who won 7 way battle royal to get this match. After the match, Omega who just come back from a break make a challenge to Generico, which he accepted. With both of them already have some past matches in PWG. This match should be fun to watch. The second main event is set as Keisuke Ishii will defend his DDT Extream title against Yasu Urano and Isami Kodaka. After the Budokan show, Ishii has become the most break out star this year by forming Team Dream Future stable with follow young generation like Takao Soma and Shigehiro Irie. They begin to take on veteran wrestler one by one. Ishii then move to next step by challenge Shuji Ishikawa for DDT Extreme title. After some help from his friend and four Kneel Kicks, Ishii finally captured the biggest title of Union pro. This lead Isami Kodaka to come out and challenge Ishii to bring the title back to their home promotion. But things got complicated when Ishii got pin by Yasu Urano. So Urano also have right to challenge for the title too. GM Amon then have no choice but to make this match a 3 Way. This will be once again bis task for Ishii. Will he walk out as a champ with two veteran in his way? Also, Tenkoji will come to DDT to team with Sanshiro Takagi to take on entire Monster Army. So that makes it a handicap match.DDT “NEVER MIND 2012” , 12/23/2012 [Sun] 12:00 @ Korakuen Hall in Tokyo(0) Dark Match: Tetsuya Endo vs. DJ Nira(1) Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi vs. Takao Soma & Shigehiro Irie(2) 4 Way Tag: MIKAMI & Gorgeous Matsuno vs. Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Michael Nakazawa vs. Hikaru Sato & Masa Takanashi vs. Yukio Sakaguchi & Akito(3) Kota Ibushi & Gota Ihashi vs. HARASHIMA & Hiro Tsumaki(4) 3 vs. 4 Handicap Match: Sanshiro Takagi, Hiroyoshi Tenzan(NJPW) & Satoshi Kojima(NJPW) vs. Antonio Honda, Yuji Hino, Hoshitango & Daisuke Sasaki(5) DDT Extreme Championship 3 Way Match: [20th Champion] Keisuke Ishii vs. Yasu Urano vs. Isami Kodaka~ 1st Defense.(6) KO-D Openweight Championship Match: [43rd Champion] El Generico vs.[Challenger] Kenny Omega~ 3rd Defense.Post by Thumbster

[All Japan News] AJP announced the titles matches that will be headlining the shows in the month of September, among the announcement of the next Triple Crown Championship match after the conclusion of Sunday’s event. Hiroshi Yamato will be
defending the World Jr. belt against bitter rival and recent tag partner Hikaru Sato. These two have had a very up and down past as rivals in the ring and even somehow finding a way too work together while being tag partners in the recent Jr. Tag League. Yamato has been on fire since winning the jr. belt and he is looking to make his first reign a memorable one. The World Tag belts will be defended as Takao Omori & Manabu Soya will be taking on Joe Doering and partner that has yet to be announced. Omori & Manabu have finally found their groove as a cohesive unit, but will the new mean streak of Joe’s prove to be more than WILD. Then we have the mystery partner which at this time “I am thinking” that it could turn out to be, the recently returned to pro wrestling competition, Rene Dupree, who has been out for quite sometime due to injury. Then the headlining match for the final event of the month on September 23rd will see the newly crowned Triple Crown Champion Masakatsu Funaki defending against the “Ace of All Japan” Suwama. These two have face off a few times in the past, when Suwama was the reigning champion back in 2010, with Suwama proving to be the better man of the matches, but this time around Funaki has shown a new purpose and intensity. Funaki’s Hick Kick to Hybrid Blaster combination has proven to be his money maker as of late, and the new champion says that he will fight to keep the belt.http://www.puroresuspirit.com/2012/08/26/all-japan-event-cards-for-september-october-2012/ All Japan Pro-Wrestling “40th Anniversary Year 2012 FLASHING TOUR”, 9/8/2012 [Sat] 18:00 @ Korakuen Hall in Tokyo (-) World Junior Prelude Tag Match: Hiroshi Yamato & Masanobu Fuchi vs. Hikaru Sato [Pancrase MISSION] & Michael Nakazawa [DDT] (-) World Tag Prelude Match: Takao Omori & Manabu Soya vs. Joe Doering & (to be announced) (-) Triple Crown Prelude 6 Man Tag Match: “STACK OF ARMS” Masakatsu Funaki, Minoru Tanaka & Koji Kanemoto vs. “TEAM DESTRUCTION/Team 246” Suwama, Shuji Kondo & Kaz Hayashi ——————————————————————————————————————- All Japan Pro-Wrestling “40th Anniversary Year 2012 FLASHING TOUR”, 9/23/2012 [Sun] 16:00 @ Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium in Kanagawa (-) World Junior Heavy Championship Match: [33rd Champion] Hiroshi Yamato vs. [Challenger] Hikaru Sato [Pancrase MISSION] ~ 2nd Title Defense. On a bit of side news, there will be two wrestlers returning to action fairly soon in Toru Owashi and MIKAMI. MIKAMI will be returning to the ring on the July 22nd show at the Korakuen Hall after being out of action due to undergoing surgery on his right shoulder.Toru Owashi, a former sumo wrestler turned pro wrestler, got his start in Toryumon and then went on to compete in DDT, El Dorado, and Dragondoor in the 00’s. Owashi has not been competing as much in the last few years, but it seems he will be coming back (full-time?) at the Budokan Hall show on 8/18.

On a bit of side news, there will be two wrestlers returning to action fairly soon in Toru Owashi and MIKAMI.
MIKAMI will be returning to the ring on the July 22nd show at the Korakuen Hall after being out of action due to undergoing surgery on his right shoulder.
Toru Owashi, a former sumo wrestler turned pro wrestler, got his start in Toryumon and then went on to compete in DDT, El Dorado, and Dragondoor in the 00’s. Owashi has not been competing as much in the last few years, but it seems he will be coming back (full-time?) at the Budokan Hall show on 8/18.
