KENTA has still not stated exactly where he is going at this time, but I will say that it is more than likely the WWE. Much like the news with Prince Devitt, KENTA is more than likely waiting for his visa to clear before saying anything himself. It also fits the Summer timeline for him to be coming in to join in at the WWE Developmental center. - CP/BushidoRX

Winner: Nagata (26:26) with the Backdrop Hold.

The first of which will be at the Korakuen Hall on May 22nd as KAI will get a match up against Yuji Hino. Hino has proven himself as the better man in recent match-up’s and at the last show on May 4th he assaulted KAI following the main event. [NOAH News] Pro Wrestling Noah held the official press signing for the upcoming GHC Heavyweight title match between Takeshi Morishima and Yuji Nagata, that is set for tomorrow February 8.

Morishima has more or less declared that he will successful defend the belt against Nagata and will continue forward as the monster champion.
Nagata on the other hand has a pinfall victory over Morishima and is waiting for the belt to now be on the line. This will mark the fourth time that Nagata has challenged for the GHC Heavyweight belt.
Nagata noted that he is aware of Morishima’s Chokibogun, army force, and he has dealt with many groups previously over the years in NJPW. He stated that Chokibo is still very young in comparison to them. Nagata will also not be bringing a second with him… which might prove bad as it is almost guaranteed that Maybach, Kenou and Ohara will get involved.

Morishima replied back that Chokibo might still be young, but that they will be quick in making an impact. They only plan to get more violent each and every day going forth. Morishima stated that he will take on everyone and that no one will stand in their way.

Morishima and Nagata then prepared for the photo session, but it was cut short as Maybach Taniguchi, Hajime Ohara, and Kenou came out and attacked Nagata from behind.

Morishima stated that this will be Nagata’s outcome tomorrow, then the group left the conference room with Nagata on the floor.

Nagata eventually arose in frustration and asked where Morishima and his army went, but they had already left.

~ Minoru’s anniversary ceremony kicked off the event, Minoru’s teacher Yoshiaki Fujiwara came out and others to celebrate Minoru’s achievement.
~ However the ceremony was short lived as DESPERADO rushed out to end the whole thing. They also smashed up Minoru’s gifts in the process.
~ Manabu Soya, matchmaker, announced that Minoru and Kanemoto can get their revenge against DESPERADO in the main event tonight.

    (1) Hiroshi Yamato vs. Daiki Inaba

    ———————————————————————————————————-
~ Manabu Soya, who is currently the matchmaker in W-1, elaborated further with the upcoming show at the Ryogoku Kokugikan on March 2. Soya stated that the TNA World Heavyweight belt, the TNA World Tag belts, and the X-Division belt will all be defended on the show.

If you missed the news from yesterday.
[WRESTLE-1 / TNA News] TNA has released a public release stating that they will be sending 11 superstars to Japan for the upcoming W-1 show on 3/2 at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan.
    http://keepingthespiritalive.tumblr.com/post/75078328450/wrestle-1-tna-news-tna-has-released-a-public

~ 4 men will be competing for the right to challenge for the World Heavyweight belt. The matches will be as follows. Seiya Sanada vs. Minoru Tanaka and Yasufumi Nakanoueno vs. Masakatsu Funaki. This mini-tournament will take place on 2/15 at Korakuen.
~ A serious strange lack of KAI, but not shocking since Manabu has issues with KAI’s performance as of late.
~ KAI came out to challenge Soya’s decision, but Soya stated that KAI has had too much of a losing streak. Sanada then came out and offered his position to KAI, as he has already challenged for the World title and lost… and that he would prefer to be in the running for the X-Division belt.
~ It was decided that KAI will take Sanada’s place, but KAI did not appear happy to receive the spot from Sanada. BUT good news, now KAI gets the rematch he wanted against Minoru Tanaka.

~ Kaz Hayashi & Shuji Kondo came out to make a bid for the Tag Championship match, but DESPERADO also made their way out to make themselves known as a candidates as well.
~ Manabu Soya rejected DESPERADO’s bid, but DESPERADO stated that they will be in the match.
~ Soya announced that there will be an assessment matches for both Kaz & Kondo later tonight.
~ Kaz vs. Seiki Yoshioka… and Kondo vs. Seiya Sanada.
    ———————————————————————————————————-

    image

~ “The Japanese Million Dollar Man” Kazushi Miyamoto paid the Brahman’s to eliminate Funaki.
    (8) Masakatsu Funaki vs. “Brahman Bothers” Shu & Kei Brahman
◆Winner: Funaki (4:50) following the Hybrid Blaster on Kei.
    image

~ During a backstage interview, Yuji Hino appeared and attacked KAI. Gurentai rushed in to make the save. KAI vs. Hino was made the next match.

    (9) KAI vs. Yuji Hino [K-DOJO]
◆Winner: Hino (7:27) with the Fucking BOMB.
image~ KAI’s losing streak continues, but he was assaulted before the match… this definitely appears to be leaving his TNA Championship opportunity in jeopardy.

~ Next up is the main event with Minoru Tanaka’s 20th Anniversary match, Minoru and Kanemoto came out. Then their opponents came out… all 4 men of DESPERADO… 2 on 4!?
… Then “Ride of the Valkyries" started playing and Yoshiaki Fujiwara came out. Then Jushin Thunder Liger’s theme began playing. The sides have been evened out to 4 vs. 4.

    (10) Minoru Tanaka’s 20th Anniversary Match: Minoru Tanaka, Koji Kanemoto, Yoshiaki Fujiwara [Fujiwara-gumi] & Jushin Thunder Liger [NJPW] vs. “DESPERADO” Masayuki Kono, Ryoji Sai, KAZMA SAKAMOTO & Rene Dupree
