[NJPW News] It is now official Tomoaki Honma will be taking Kota Ibushi’s place in this years G1 CLIMAX.President Naoki Sugabayashi reiterated what was stated yesterday to why Kota Ibushi is out of the tournament and he is personally very sorry that he is out. But this will be a huge opportunity for Tomaoki Honma and hopefully it brings a new dynamic to the shows.Kota Ibushi was also on hand for the announcement, which was taking place during the G1 Press Conference, and stated that “there are no abnormalities, but I need rest.” As he noted that he just did not feel right in a recent practice session a couple days ago. Ibushi said that he was looking forward to competing in the G1 more than anything, but he now hopes to return better than ever.————————————Personally I felt that Honma should have been in the tournament in the first place, but it is not like his position is that high to begin with.Tomohiro Ishii and Honma were part of one of my favorite matches earlier this year with the NEVER belt on the line as Honma can deliver plenty of solid matches when need be. Very underrated talent in my opinion, so I will be interested to see “IF” and against “who” that he may potentially claim a win over in the G1.[BushidoRX]————————————NJPW G1 CLIMAX 24 Previewhttp://keepingthespiritalive.tumblr.com/post/92181627180/njpw-g1-climax-24-preview-by-cp-bushidorx-iNJPW’s G1 CLIMAX 24 – League Infohttp://puroresuspirit.wordpress.com/2014/06/21/njpws-g1-climax-24-league-info/NJPW Event Cards for July & August 2014http://puroresuspirit.wordpress.com/2014/06/21/njpw-event-cards-for-july-august-2014/
