[All Japan News] AJPW announced the upcoming event cards for their “Summer Impact 2014” tour in August.

The tour will begin on August 16th at the Korakuen Hall. The show will see both the return of Go Shiozaki and Akebono to in-ring competition. Akebono will be taking part in a Triple Crown Premium Tag match as he teams with a former champion in Jun Akiyama to take on the current Triple Crown champion Joe Doering and another former Triple Crown champion Takao Omori.
Go Shiozaki on the other hand will be taking on Suwama in a singles match, which is more or less a rekindling of their previous singles encounters over the last year and a half.
The Asia Tag belts will also be in defense as “Dream Team Futures” Shigehiro Irie & Keisuke Ishii will be defending against Kento Miyahara & Kotaro Suzuki. Miyahara specifically has been a roll as of late and has his whole mind set on capturing a championship in All Japan.

As for changes leading into the show, Yoshei Nakajima, who is formerly Menso~re Oyaji, will now be competing as himself and as part of the “Xceed” group from now going forward. [Pictured top right: Yohei Nakajima, Go Shiozaki, Kento Miyahara & Kotaro Suzuki]

All the events have been announced, except for the final day on August 30th which it is expected to see most of, if not all, of the All Japan title belts in defense. If All Japan does not announce anything soon it can be expected that the Korakuen Hall show on the 16th will setup most of the headlining matches.

For those who read this, this year will mark the 5th anniversary of me being under the Puroresu Spirit name. Now I don’t mean to beg for anything with something a little more being returned to you guys who follow the site, but I have added a paypal donation spot on this side of this blog, or just click this link. I am not begging for much, but a couple people have mentioned that it would be a nice thing for people to give back. Responsibilities with getting older mean that time is more crucial that in used to be when I was younger, just reality I guess.
So I am thinking of a “plan" is to hold a donation "contest" for a couple gifts. That is once they have all been finalized/lined up. Gifts of which could involve NJPW King of Pro Wrestling cards, just as one suggestion. For those who donate now I will be putting your name into the contest drawing. Keep in mind that the contest is not a guarantee, but I do think it would be nice to try and give back a little something extra if I do so happen to get anything. Thanks for the support.

I am continually looking to expand the site and facebook page with all different kinds of coverage! If you wish to contribute or you have a site you want to be in connection with Puroresu Spirit, feel free to send me a message on the facebook page, tumblr, or on twitter
You can even shoot me an email at PuroSpirit (at) gmail.com.

I am mainly looking for more Japanese Indy promotion coverage, someone to cover DRAGON GATE and or even NJPW. Also to help maintain and update pages/promotions/profiles on the website. If this sounds like something of interest, feel free to send me a message. Being over 30 years old has just limited how much time I can dedicate to things as I wish. I will continue to do my best though, but thanks for the understanding.
