[ZERO1 News] Zero1 held a press conference at their office in Tokyo for the upcoming Korakuen Hall show on June 1.

The reigning Intercontinental Tag Champions the “Dangan Yankees” Masato Tanaka & Takashi Sugiura have been on an unstoppable roll as of late in both Zero1 and Noah. The duo are set to make their first defense of the tag belts against BJW’s Daisuke Sekimoto and Kazuki Hashimoto. Sekimoto noted that his last reign did not go as planned as he was forced to relinquish the belts, but now he is looking to capitalize on the opportunity to become a champion once more. Kazuki on the other hand noted that he is still trying to work his way up but a championship win would begin his push to the top.
It should also be noted that the Dangan Yankees have a GHC Tag challenge the night before against the champions of Takeshi Morishima & Maybach Taniguchi on May 31 at Differ Ariake. This will heavy weekend for the duo, but they are both known as nothing less than work-horses in their own right and eagerly anticipating the forthcoming matches.

Also it was announced that Manabu Soya will be KAI’s partner as they face against the reigning World Champion Kohei Sato and Hideki Suzuki. Kohei has stated that he will defend Zero1 as the champion, and KAI has been noted in the past for his lack of respect for the promotion. This match is also not exactly being a called a title prelude, as nothing has been set it stone, but early word is that Kohei Sato and KAI could indeed be facing off one-on-one following the outcome of this match.

Below is the announced card at this time…
